部材を回転ジョイントで接続したシザーズ機構を用いて、平面と円筒を行き来する二つの作品を制作しました。回転対称な機構の全体が連動して変形し、平面にとどまれなくなった部材が面外に曲がることで三次元曲面が生まれます。

Using scissors mechanisms composed of components connected by rotational joints, I created two sculptural works that transition between planar and cylindrical forms. The entire rotationally symmetric mechanism deforms in unison, and as the components can no longer remain within the plane, they bend out of plane, resulting in three-dimensional curved surfaces. Please observe the differences in the surface shape that emerge during the transformation process.
